NOTE: I don't own Fairy Tail or any of it's characters. THIS IS JUST A FANFICTION!!. ALSO, this is taking place after the S-CLASS exam. Since as far as my reading of Fairy Tail goes they are still in the middle of it, I have NO CLUE who actually becomes the S-CLASS mage.

OH, how Levy wished she was back at the island! It was SO warm there! but HERE?? Of COARSE not. Levy was not at all sore about not becoming an S-CLASS mage. She could try again next year...Besides, she had really enjoyed working with Gajeel. And though she didn't like admitting it, she really liked him after all he had done to help her, protect her....aaaah Just the thought of him made her smile. Behind her she heard a loud creak, someone just arrived at Fairy Tail. She turned around to see who it was, and saw Gajeel. Covered in snow, he came in, and plopped into the nearest chair (which was next to LEVY) Levy was about to ask him what happened when she heard Jet and Droy come in...THEY were walking snowmen with some scratches and bruises on them. They GLARED in her direction, so she turned her head away, to see Gajeel smirking. NOW it made sense...

Gajeel smirked happily when he saw Levy's fanclub walk inside looking WAY worse for wear. Why wouldn't he? They had caught him in town buying...SOMETHING for...SOMEONE. They started yelling at him and challenging him. SO (of coarse) he beat the crap out of them. Gajeel heard a "hmph!" from next to him and turned his head just to come face to face with Levy. Gajeel, the COLD, HEARTLESS DRAGON SLAYER blushed just the TINIEST bit. He hoped it was covered up by his red face from the snow. "WHAT?" he asked. "You know WHAT." Levy replied in a grumpy tone. "You beat them up again!! You know you shouldn't do that!!! They're WAY too WEAK to fight someone as strong as you!!" At this Gajeel's smirk grew wider...Levy had just admitted that her cronies were weak!! XD This was just TOO good to be true!!!!

Levy paused and thought, THEN she realized what she had just said. She BLUSHED like there was no tomorrow. GREAT she thought, now Gajeel was gonna hold that against her FOREVER! She turned her head to see Jet and Droy, mouths gaping wide, staring at her. APPARENTLY she had been talking a bit loud... "LEVY!!??!! How could you??" Jet yelled. "Yeah Levy, we thought we were your friends!" Droy chimed in. "I'm sorry guys, but it's TRUE...If you gonna get in fights, make sure you know what your in for!!" Levy yelled back. BUT NOOOOW she felt GUILTY...She turned away from them (back to Gajeel) "WELL Gajeel? Why'd you guys get in a fight THIS time?"

Gajeel wasn't exactly sure how to answer this...If he told her what he had been doing when they challenged him, he would be telling his secret to the whole world...BUT if he lied, Jet and Droy would reveal his secret FOR him!! NOW WHAT?!?! "Uhm...well...do you REALLY want to know?" He asked, praying that she would say no but...."Yes Gajeel, I want to know. Why? Can't you tell me??" Levy asked with concern. "WELL...I can tell you, but not here. Meet me in the Tea shop on main street?" Gajeel asked before he realized what was happening.

Levy was shocked. Did GAJEEL just ask her out on a DATE??!?!?!?! "Uhm...Oh, yeah, SURE. How about in a half hour?" She asked while trying REALLY hard to keep a strait face. "Sure. See you then." Gajeel said while standing up, THEN, he RAN into the street. OH SHIT, now everyone is staring at me! And it was true, everyone except for Kana (because she was passed out) was staring at Levy in disbelief. Even MIRAJANE! But, something about Mirajane's face just SCREAMED EVIL. Levy blushed as Jet and Droy came near her. "Hey Levy! What the hell was..."Jet started, but before he could finish, Levy slapped him and Droy with her bookbag and RAN out into the cold streets of Magnolia.

Gajeel was waiting at the teashop hoping, and praying, and practically BEGGING any creature or person that might be deciding his future to let this go well. Gajeel checked his watch, 3 minutes until the decided time. Wasn't Levy coming? But before Gajeel could worry too much, he saw Levy walking towards him, holding her arms across her chest to keep warm. He noticed that her eyes were kind of red, and puffy, as though she'd been crying. "Hey" he said as he grabbed her shoulders "Are you okay?" "Yeah Gajeel," She sniffed, "I'm just FINE..." But with those last words she started breaking down. She put her hands over her face and started crying. "HEY! What's with this? What happened?" Who do I need to kill? Gajeel didn't ask that last question though, he feared that that might make her cry more..."Do you need my help?"

Levy was crying like a baby. She had said some terrible (and embarrassing) things to Jet and Droy before she got here.

"HEY! LEVY!! WAIT UP!!!" Jet yelled after her as she stomped out of Fairy Tail. "What the HELL was that for?!?!" Droy added. "WHY did you HIT us??" "Why did I hit you? WHY DID I HIT YOU?!?!!" Levy yelled back, "DON'T TELL THAT YOU GUYS ARE TOO STUPID TO REALIZE WHY I HIT YOU??!?!?!?!?" Levy paused for breath, she just wasn't used to yelling. " I HIT YOU BECAUSE YOU GUYS ARE ALWAYS PICKING FIGHTS WITH GAJEEL!! GAJEEL AT LEST TRIES TO PROTECT ME!!!!!!!!" "So your comparing us to GAJEEL now??" Jet remarked. "YES!!!!! YES I AM COMPARING YOU TO HIM BECAUSE HE IS A GREAT GUY AND YOU TWO ARE ALWAYS PICKING FIGHTS WITH HIM, JUST TO GET YOUR ASSES KICKED AND MAKE HIM LOOK LIKE A BAD GUY!!!!!" Levy didn't realize what she was saying....yet. " HE IS A WONDERFUL PERSON WHO CARES A-A-AND TRIES AND!!! AND HE'S EVERYTHING YOU TWO AREN'T! HE'S THE PERFECT GUY!!! SO JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!" NOW Levy realized what she was saying. And as soon as those last few sentences left her mouth, she clasped her hands over her face and screamed. OH GAWD, she thought, how the HELL am I gonna explain this??!!?? She started crying angry tears and stopped off so hard that it made her feet hurt, but she didn't care.

"Oh Gajeel..." Levy barely managed to say before she clung onto him like a leech. She knew that this would probably scare him away but, she needed a hug.

Gajeel blushed like crazy when he realized that Levy was crying into his chest, he did the only thing he could think of...hug her back. This was rather embarrassing but, he asked her to come out here so he could tell her how he felt. "Levy...? Uhm...The reason I asked you to meet me here was so that I could tell you that...uhm..." Gajeel was blushing crazily and he looked down to see that Levy's face was no longer buried in his chest, but staring up at him in the most PUPPY-ISH way. "Yes Gajeel?" She asked. "Uhm...I think I...uh...I think I uhm..." "You think WHAT Gajeel?" CRAP! This was getting awkward. So Gajeel did the first instinctive thing he could...He grabbed Levy and kissed her.

Levy didn't know what to do, she had come her to find out why he had been fighting with Jet and Droy this time, but here she was, being held in the arms of Gajeel, being kissed in one of the most romantic ways she could imagine (for this moment in time anyway) When Gajeel pulled away, she had a MILLION questions to ask, but before she could ask any..."That's what I think..." Gajeel said in that gruff but kind voice of his. "Oh, and I also bought this for you..." He handed her a card in the shape of a heart, and written inside was the printed "Happy Valentines Day!" but under it was, "See what shape this is? I didn't have one of these before I met you." So cheesy yet cute at the same time. "Thank you Gajeel. Thank you... " And with that she pulled Gajeel's face down to her height and kissed him.
